Tackling a Key 21st Century Evaluation Challenge

Six years after the 1^stconference in Alexandria, the impacts of climate change had become increasingly visible, interest in the topic had peaked, and evaluation knowledge had increased substantively. The second international conference, co-organized by GEF IEO and Climate-Eval, attracted some 300 participants and built upon experiences from evaluations conducted by organizations such as the World Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, GEF and CIF. The process led to an authoritative book based on selected presentations made at the conference .
