Mariana Calderon Cerbon

Mariana is an evaluation and economic analyst with experience in assessing the relevance and effectiveness of development interventions through quantitative and qualitative methods. Before joining the IEO, Mariana worked for the World Bank’s Independent Evaluation Group where she conducted portfolio review and analysis, applied econometric techniques and participated in country case studies for thematic evaluations. At the Economic Research Department of the Mexican Central Bank she participated in policy-oriented research on prices and labor market topics. Mariana holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the University of Chicago and a BA in Economics from Tecnologico de Monterrey.
