Peixuan joined the GEF Independent Evaluation Office in 2015. She has worked on several thematic evaluations, including the third joint GEF-UNDP evaluation of the Small Grants Programme (SGP), evaluation of GEF support to scaling up impact, and evaluation of the multiple benefits of GEF support through its multifocal area portfolio. She led the review of GEF experience in promoting sustainable fisheries.
Prior to joining the GEF, Peixuan worked on nutrient management policy framework with the water quality team at the World Resources Institute. She also worked on promoting sustainable supply chains with the Market Transformation Initiative and the Smart Fishing Initiative at the World Wildlife Fund. Her previous work at Bank of China focused on corporate performance management and evaluation.
Peixuan holds a Master in Public Policy from University of Maryland and a Master of Arts from Tsinghua University, with specialization in financial development.
