Arijeta has over 10 years of experience in budget management, portfolio analysis, and results management across international organizations and the private sector.

At the Global Environment Facility’s Independent Evaluation Office (GEF IEO), she supports budget planning and execution, financial monitoring, and evaluation operations.

Prior to joining the GEF IEO, Arijeta worked with the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) at the World Bank Group, where she managed a portfolio of countries and worked closely with grant agencies to guide them through the grant process, from initial allocation to final approval. She also oversaw the accuracy and management of grant financial data in GPE’s systems.

Before joining GPE, Arijeta worked in Human Resources at the World Bank Group. Earlier in her career, she held roles with the United Nations and in the private sector.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from George Mason University.
