The 16th EES Biennial Conference will take place October 26-30, 2026, at Lille Grand Palais, France.

The conference is expected to bring together up to 1,000 delegates from Europe and globally to engage with developments in evaluation theory, practice, and methodology.

The provisional conference theme is "Evaluation for vibrant democracies," addressing challenges of polarization, misinformation, populism, and authoritarianism affecting social, economic, environmental, and political stability. The conference will convene thought leaders, practitioners, commissioners, and methodological innovators, with a focus on inclusivity, participation, and evidence for democratic governance.
