The GEF Independent Evaluation Office (IEO) was a sponsor of the 2021 Canadian Evaluation Society Conference, held from May 9–14, with pre-conference workshops beginning April 30.

Centered on the theme “Evaluation Utilization: Achieving Our Potential,” the 2021 conference brought together evaluators from across the globe. The IEO sponsored ten participants from Latin America, Africa, and Asia and hosted a virtual booth where attendees could learn more about the Office’s work and engage directly with staff.

IEO Director Juha I. Uitto joined Andy Rowe, Debbie DeLancey, Susanna Beaudin, and Mike Van Gaalen in the panel discussion “Is Evaluation in Canada Ready for Sustainability?” held on Friday, May 14, at 13:00 (Eastern Time).
