The GEF will convene an Extended Constituency Workshop (ECW) for Pacific Island countries in Fiji from 24–27 February 2026.

The workshop will bring together government representatives, civil society organizations (CSOs), and GEF project stakeholders to strengthen understanding of GEF strategies, policies, and operational procedures.

The ECW will focus on practical aspects of country programming and project implementation, including how GEF resources are accessed, planned, and delivered at the national and regional levels. Sessions will provide opportunities for participants to engage with GEF processes, share experiences, and discuss challenges and good practices relevant to the Pacific context.

Selected participants will have the opportunity to build knowledge, strengthen networks, and contribute to dialogue on effective and inclusive implementation of GEF-supported initiatives in the region.
