The webinar will focus on the publication of the book Evaluating Climate Change Action for Sustainable Development which had its genesis in the Earth-Eval following the Second International Conference on Evaluating Climate Change and Development. Some of you may remember this event from November 2014 that brought together about 300 leading experts and policymakers in the field to Washington, DC for 3 days.

At its 51st meeting in October 2016, the GEF Council requested the Trustee, in cooperation with the Secretariat, to initiate discussions on the 7th replenishment of resources of the GEF Trust Fund (GEF-7). The 1st replenishment meeting provided an opportunity for Contributing Participants to review GEF performance and evaluate progress, assess future funding needs, and agree on a financing framework.
